Kaiapoi Eats

We had Tasteful Affairs cater a taco bar buffet for our wedding in September and they went above and beyond. Through the planning phase they listened to everything we needed or asked for while offering suggestions where needed. The food and presentation was amazing as was the service. We had many people say they were the best tacos they have ever had. Highly recommend the Tasteful team

Went for Sunday lunch and enjoyed the food and sharply priced menu. The restaurant is based at Kaiapoi golf club so the restaurant setting is simple and spacious. Outside seating available. Specials are good. Excellent service. Reasonably priced bar. Free parking at the door.

After trying for months to have gluten free fish n chips I was sadly disappointed. The gluten free fish inside the batter was moist but the batter was soggy , the chips were under cooked. The chips and fish had not sat for a period on the trip home I only live two mins away. We were the first cooking of the evening maybe that was the issue The actual service was excellent .

The prepared meals you serve are bland, unseasoned, boring and undercooked. Not very nice at all. Won't use again, and will be telling others to avoid at all costs.

Should have checked the reviews before ordering meals. Whoever is cooking has no idea what they're doing. Never tasted such bland food in my life for a start. I don't mind Al dente veges, but these veges were always undercooked to the point of being raw and crunchy. It's a shame, the concept was good, if only it were executed. For the price, I wasn't expecting gourmet, I was only expecting average which is fine, but it wasn't even that.

No idea on food, but owned by an anti vaxxer very active on social media in this field. If you don't like that sort of view, would avoid like the plague No pun intended
