Had breakfast here on route to Cape Farewell. The short diversion was well worth it. Bacon & Eggs were great, sourdough toast possibly the best I've ever head. Coffee was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing view. Toilets were spotless too. I couldn't fault this place. 5 stars never more well deserved.
A staff that served us was rude, rolled her eyes at us for not being ready for ordering drinks. They also had ran out of Hot Sauce, apparently there was only one Tabasco left in the whole restaurant, so the same staff members waits at the table while we can use some hot sauce. For an expensive meal and amazing views of the beach, the service and food could have been a lot better.
A sweet spot with a beautiful view! Must be a bit of a hit and miss for some considering the previous reviews.. Not going to lie - living in Auckland with big prices, coming here and finding this sweet spot was a massive score! Popped in 25/07/20. Beautiful views just outside, delicious food BURGERS ARE THE BEST - almost too big that I couldn’t finish it and the young woman working FOH was lovely. We’ll be back
You can't go wrong with fish and chips right! This really hit the spot after my ferry tour - that sea breeze literally gets the appetite going. Lunch in the sun is the best and this place has an outdoor option as well as an indoor option. Try and sit outside if it's a nice day as its situated across from the beach so the view is pretty lovely. Loved the fresh salad that came with my meal. Love a place that has a crumbed option too.
These fish n chips r 22 nzd. Two pieces fishes were smelly so reasonable price. The chips amount.. Very very less. Only look a lot on top. Just go to see a nice view.

Beautiful location. Nice cafe. Unfortunately, coffee was really not good. Maybe too early in the morning but no excuse considering how much this country values its coffee.
Check out my picture to see the worst eggs Benedict I have ever seen. A poor excuse for food. Do not reccomend this place. Head to the smoking barrel in motueka for some decent food
I was very disappointed. We loved it the last time we went. This time the selection of food did not suit my taste. It seems like there is more choice of vegetarian and fish. I can't eat a lot so I chose from the bar menu and chose the wedges. It was a large bowl. Normally wedges have melted cheese on top and bits of bacon but this was just the sweet chilly sauce a Sauer cream. There was not much of a choice for desert. I chose the chocolate slice. It looked lovely when served but did not taste so good. They served the desert first and had to take it away and seemed to have forgot the wedges at first. After eating the wedges they took so long to come back to us we had to ask for my desert. This restaurant has such a pleasant setting and the staff are pleasant but I don't think we will go back for a meal in a hurry. Such a pity.
Great spot, very busy on Easter Monday, got snapped at as we walked in the door that they were fully booked. Just as well one of the bookings was ours. My friends enjoyed their burgers but my beer battered fish was overcooked to a dark shade of brown not golden hence the 4 stars. Menu is limited but waitress was lovely. Did enjoy our time there after a rough start.
