Kai at The Peak

Really super location to enjoy a meal or just a beverage. Great option after a walk on one of the many Te Mata Peak tracks. Owners have made the cafe dog friendly i.e. provide drinking bowl/s directly outside cafe. They have also built lodgings underneath the cafe. Beautiful outlooks from both cafe & lodgings.

The absolute wow is the location. A wonderful panorama over Hastings Havelock North & Napier.. The food & service was improved on my third visit. The menu is super, small concise & something for everyone like vegetarian & gluten free. It's popular for coffee. But the meals now I would gladly recommend.

Magnificent views but the rest went downhill. Mocha arrived tepid. I ordered the big breakfast and was very disappointed. Below average food. Would not recommend Peak House at all.

Delicious food and great customer service! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Will definitely be eating here again.

Perfect spot regardless of weather, the views of HB are wonderful. The staff are absolutely lovely and very accommodating .... and food is pretty darn good too !

Friendly staff, beautiful views. Scones are nice, caramel latte was sickly sweet. Missed part of our order which we had to ask for again
