Story

Kaan's Catering Supplies Ltd was founded in 1991 with Lindsay Kaan and his mother Coral Kaan. Since then the Company has gone from strength to strength to become one of Otago’s largest wholesale food distributors, with the head office based in Dunedin and a branch in Christchurch.

Lindsay now heads the operation while his brother Geoff is the Manager in charge of fresh produce and distribution, ensuring that the right quality products reach our customers on time and in peak condition.

Kaan's Catering Supplies Ltd employs approximately 130 staff (including 7 former chefs). Kaan's operate a fleet of over 30 vehicles, which ensure that your order is delivered in a timely manner.

The Company carries in excess of 3,000 different product lines along with fresh fruit & vegetables, seafood, meat as well as an extensive range of Asian products.
Kaan’s has a joint importing venture with an Australian counterpart to increase our buying power by sourcing products directly from overseas suppliers. By importing in large quantities we can continue to provide very competitive pricing.

Kaan's Catering Supplies offers a six-day per week delivery service with an urgent after hours delivery service available to ensure our customers are never left short of product.

Kaan's delivers throughout Otago, South Canterbury, Central Otago, South Otago and Southland.
