Just Cuts Chartwell

Went in for a wash and haircut. The hairdresser was rough while washing my hair and during the haircut to the point of physical pain. The hairdresser was rude and condescending with a bad attitude. She also cut my hair far shorter than I wanted it cut. I also found out at the end they charge $14 just to dry your hair after the wash. This is shown on a sign at the front. Easily the worst experience I've ever had at a hairdresser and quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with any business.

2nd time coming here. Every visit has been excellent. The hairdresser did what I asked, as I only wanted to trim the dry ends but keep the length as possible because i am trying to grow my hair longer. I was pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Went to Chartwell today 21/2/23 popped in and decided I wanted my haircut shorter. The lady with silver/Grey Bob Hsirdresser asked what I wanted I pointed to picture on shelf and she told me it was short, I mentioned I would like it cut bit longer length and bit longer on top. She then proceeded to tell me that it was very short, even though i had mentioned I would like it cut to same style just bit longer all around. I had a friend with me and she hairdresser seemed to take more notice of what she thought it should be cut like I have had short hair in the passed, she then proceed to find a book with hair styles in that seem to have co e our with the ark. Wasn't impressed with her customer skills, yes I did pay but shan't return to store in a hurry. And not sure if she thought style wouldn't suit me, but being on meds for health condition which alter the shape of my face wasn't impressed at all.Service: Hairstyling

Will not come back. Young receptionist was pleasant and friendly, but the hairstylist was not approachable and didn’t smile at all, makes you feel like you are a nuisance to her. I prefer the stylists at Te Rapa as they are very professional, even though they get busy they’ll still accommodate and treat you well.

First time visit , good experienced hairdresser, I showed her a photo of what I wanted or as near as, and she dis a lovely job. Lots of compliments a later, would highly recommend them.

I've been here many times and am always happy with my haircuts but today I went with my mum and to find out that the lady who had cut my mum's hair left her with scratches and red marks due to her nails. I am extremely upset and angered about this and I was going to say something but didn't want to make a whole commotion as there were other customers waiting. My mum did not pay 34 dollars to be scratched. I loved my haircut but I did not get dusted off well as their was hair stuck all over my chest. My mum told me she had never been treated this way before. This place is good depending on the hair dresser, the best hairdresser there is Dawn. Dawn would blow dry my hair well with a roll comb but when my mum asked today, they said she had to pay. We didn't come with wet hair, the hairdresser damped our hair, so we expect to go out with our hair dry again. My mum felt like she was treated badly due to her race as one of the ladies who didn't even cut our hair would chime in and say something, I noticed she was extremely friendly to caucasian people but the tone of voice she used with my mum was incredibly rude. I use to love this place but I don't think I am going to go there again. My mum had tried to tell the reception that she was not happy but the lady had just shrugged her shoulders. Overall very poor experience today.

Such friendly and reliable staff. They treated my son with such respect, definitely going back. Reasonable prices too

Good hairdressers here, no appointments so you wait your turn, but they tell you how long and you can go away for a while. Good prices.

Popped into Just Cuts at Chartwell Square an had my undercut done, buzz cut style by I think it was Erica, she done an amazing job so I'll definitely be going back every 4-5 weeks for the touch-up. Thanx Erica for listen before starting.

Beautiful place, they did lovely haircut and style, thanks Mike and Erica for my hair and I love it, definitely get a haircut there again next time
