Story

I believe that our lives are made richer and more meaningful through the ceremonies and rituals that we as a society choose to acknowledge. One of my goals in life is to help others gain meaning , through such rituals. In 2009 I completed formal training as a celebrant and established a celebrant business so that I could fulfil my desire to assist and guide people through their significant ceremonies in life. It is my practise to listen to my clients, taking their lead in developing and shaping original ceremonies to suit their needs.

Stewart is simply amazing and the best Celebrant around. He is so caring, and friendly and made us feel at ease during the organising of the funeral. Stewart noted down everything we told him and put it all together in a beautiful service for our Mum. Everyone commented on how wonderful he was and one person even thought he was a friend of our Mums. Such a lovely guy.
The very very best... Helped give my Grandad the greatest send off. We still comments about what a fantastic job Stewart did. Forever grateful! Thank you
Stewart's ceremony was the absolute highlight of our wedding! It was amazing, he made it so personal, heartfelt and emotional, our family and friends loved it even if their tears spoiled their make up!. My advice to anyone - if Stewart is available, book him!!
I couldn’t fault Stewart at all. He was the celebrant for my mums funeral and was absolutely perfect from the start of the process, all the way through to the end. Stewart’s approach is brilliant and I have really appreciated his help in making a really difficult time run so smoothly. Stewart and I spent a good few hours on the phone talking through ideas for the service and throughout all our phone calls, Stewart was incredibly kind and compassionate, but has a great ability in bringing out the best of a bad situation, which was perfect as I wanted my mums service to be an uplifting and happy affair. His ideas are all really well thought out and he had been incredibly patient and understanding with me when I made additions or changes to the service. Stewart’s delivery on the day was ace. His manner is professional and warm. Stewart would be absolutely perfect for weddings and vow renewals too as he is bright, bubbly and fun and would be an amazing celebrant to all events. Thank you for everything.
Stewart was the celebrant for our wedding celebration in July this year and it was by far the best decision we made during the whole wedding! We met him together over a coffee and he spent hours getting to know about us and what kind of ceremony we wanted to have. My partner and I weren’t too sure on how we wanted the ceremony but Stewart had great ideas and asked questions to really get a sense of our story and what kind of vibe we wanted. On the day, the ceremony was perfect - there were tears and laughter and the whole thing felt authentic and personal to who we are. Everyone was asking after Stewart saying it was the best wedding ceremony they’d been to! We were on such a high after the wedding, and believe it was the fun and heartfelt ceremony that really set the tone for the rest of the day. We cannot recommend the wonderful Stewart enough - thank you so much for making our day even better than we could have imagined!
Had the pleasure of witnessing Stewart do his thing this weekend at a wedding I planned for the wonderful J&M. The ceremony was packed full of personality, stories and heart, and it was a joy to witness. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to future couples!
Only just getting around to writing this review after Stewart helped us organise my Father's funeral a few months back. He was incredibly warm and caring and we felt we were able to trust Stewart to take special care in telling my Father's story with humour and warmth - just as my Dad deserved. He took the time to get to know us and helped guide us though the arrangements during a time when our brains were scrambled from the grief. He listened carefully to our wishes and helped us to achieve a highly personal order of service. We experienced Stewart as more of a friend, rather than processing the service as a business transaction - this was so important to us. Thank you again Stewart, for making a terrible time a bit smoother and for helping us to feel supported. We couldn't recommend him more highly xx
Stewart's profile stood out to us as strong and unique among a sea of others who appeared pretty similar to each other. He could not have been more perfect as a choice. Stewart put in hours of prep work getting to know us and our story, and talking through with us what we'd like. He crafted an event which mixed in some of our own ideas and fond wishes like a handfasting with some of his own unique and interesting rituals and special touches. The result was knockout and all our guests remarked that this was the best wedding they'd ever attended. Never draggy or boring, full of joy and love but also with a nod to poignant family memories, smooth as could be. It was a covid 30 guests only wedding and Stewart made it feel intimate but celebratory and magnificent. It really was the best say of our lives. Two rehearsals, a careful running order, and Stewart even bought a new outfit to tone with our theme. Autumnal plus citrus, a tough call but he turned up looking sharp and in theme! My mum was so impressed, she has asked him for advance booking for her funeral, bless her! And we're hoping he'll do vows renewal for us when the time comes. Truly outstanding.
Stewart was the celebrant at my Mum's recent funeral. He was so helpful, friendly and professional and made the whole occasion go really smoothly. He has a lovely manner and delivered his address in a clear, warm and accessible way with humour as well, which was appropriate. We were all so pleased to have Stewart as part of our day.
Stewart made what could have been a difficult day so much easier. No one got left out, and the memories of our our loved one were shared beautifully. His care for our family was visible and we all felt XXX would have loved it...Thank you Stewart, for your professional guidance, your genuine warmth, and all your kindness.
