Good spot for freedom camping. Right by pools where you will be able to shower. Great place for kids and dogs . Kid and dog parks. There is kinda a main road. But it slows off at night. Town and shops just down the road
Really nice stadium. The court is good for the Roller Hockey we went to go have a look at. We were only there for a short time, but it was a pleasant experience.
Used the allowable spaces for Freedom camping during our visit to Whanganui and was very good. Dump station right there and close to town. No problems and didn't find it noisy. A couple of the friendly local campers also said they'd keep an eye on the caravan if we weren't there.
Good free camping for CSC vehicles. Maybe a few of non self contained arrive there although they display the sticker have no water, waste tank and toilet. Council could police more
We pay pickleball here. Great facility in Springvale Park, Whanganui
