Jubilee Stadium, is a multipurpose stadium in Armavir, Armenia, mostly used for football games. With a capacity of 10,000 spectators, it is the 3rd-largest stadium in Armenia.OverviewJubilee Stadium was opened in 1980 during the 60th anniversary of the Sovietization of Armenia. It was home to FC Armavir until 2003, when the club was dissolved and retired from professional football. In 1985, the stadium hosted one match in the group stage of the FIFA World Youth Championship organized in the Soviet Union. The stadium is currently used by several youth football schools in the Armavir Province. However, the infrastructure of the stadium is outdated, as it had never been renovated since its inauguration. On 4 February 2016, the ownership of the stadium was transferred to the Football Federation of Armenia by the decision of the government. It is envisaged to upgrade the stadium with an investment of around US $ 1.65 million.
