Recently got my hair cut here and was so happy with my experience. Went in to get a short cut and style with the wash and was paired with a nice lady I believe it was Judy but not completely sure who seemed to know what she was doing. Stylists spoke fluent English and heard them talking to other clients in Korean as well. My stylist was very sweet and patient, we waited for one of the two stylists at the back to finish washing other clients hair then eventually she decided to cut my hair simply so as to not waste time. She cut it a little longer than my reference and I already thought it looked great, then she washed my hair gently and thoroughly before guiding me back to my chair. She cut my hair shorter and asked me if I was happy with the length multiple times, I appreciated the reassurance. When she finished she asked me if I was happy with it and I asked her to cut it shorter which she kindly obliged. She made it almost exactly like my reference so I was very grateful. Everyone was very helpful and nice, very experienced stylists and affordable place. 10/10 would recommend this place especially for Asian hair/ styles.
It was such a sad and horrible experience. I have been going to Jin and Jen for years, and when i visited last week, they seemed to be struggling with staff shortages which is understandable. Today I got my hair done with a new hair designer. He seemed really nice which makes the situation even worse. Simply put, he is not skilled enough to be cutting customers’ hair. The thing is, I did not think it would matter because I was just in for a simple layered cut, and I thought any/all hairdressers could do this… Now my hair looks ridiculous and even embarrassing to a point to go out. I didn’t say anything in that moment because I felt it was the best he could do. Anyways, I was trying to be understanding because everyone has their first time for something. But just want you to know this is not professional hairdresser you would be looking for. It’s simply unbelievable they think they can do this to their customers. They also charged me full price after.
I am happy that my favorite hair stylist Borem is back to work! Great attention to details and good asthetics! I have been with her since 2018. Hailey is also great! Best korean salon in town also affordable! Had hair coloured and permed by Boram yesterday. Happy with the results. Photo 2 taken a day after digi perm. Very natural curl. Impressed!
This place is real gem and super conveniently located for all the down town peeps. One needs to book for a good reason. So polite,pleasant, skilled professional! Lovely team and service. Great price. Yuki did excellent job with a smile and my hair is challenge/needs skill! Compliments and will be back that is for sure!

This is probably the best hairdresser I've been to. I came in for a men's perm and a haircut and Won, my stylist, was incredibly detail-oriented and did an amazing job. Would highly recommend!Services: Hairstyling
Went there for a hair cut and my hair dresser didn't even talk to me the entire time So awkward. She didn't ask me what I wanted. She trimmed it in less than 15 mins only spent 12 mins on it then didn't even style it and sent me off with damp hair. I was so disappointed as my partner went there and they took great care of his hair although the back of the head was a little uneven. A 12 min haircut is definitely not worth $40. Also they never sent me a confirmation email when I booked it in store, especially when they cancelled my previous haircut appointment only 3 hours before the appointment with just a email no offer to re-book, no phone call, no reason.Service: Curly hair
One of the worst experience I ever had for past 32 years of visiting a hair salon. It just took them 5 minutes to get everything done. No pre washing hair, just ask what you want. When I say make it short, no further question and immediately made a big cut. Not even asking the previous hairstyle, no talking, no even a single measurement ! They don’t even care to ask you whether you are a gel or wax user as it has a differences of style for different gels or wax . No water nothing to be serve. A 10 dollar worth job but charge me 35 dollar for a 5 minutes cut. Terrible Service: Hairstyling
Permanent straightening was a great result. But customer service could be a bit better. Minimal conversation and service from hairdresser and staff. For the amount of money you spend it could be a better experience
I usually come here and they always do a good job. Yesterday I came here again but when i got home i didn’t like it but they were able to help me out and fix it for free. Definitely would recommend this place!!Service: Curly hair
