And when it comes to steak we have the most tender and delicious bone on ribeye steak in Canterbury. No Bull.
We have just redesigned our entire menu, but we have kept our all-time favourites such as the Duo of Pork and Venison Pie, and created tastier, healthier themes with our seared prawns, Caesar salad, and our decadent chocolate trio- we believe it’s healthy to be happy.
Special dietary requirements can also be catered for and we have added gluten free and vegetarian items to our menu. Room service includes a 24 hour snack menu and is available to suit your traveling timetable or budget.

AMAZING FOOD! Had the steak that was cooked to perfection and absolutely melted in my mouth. The duck fat roasted potatoes were also life changing and an outstanding dessert to finish. Staff were super helpful, friendly and patient with kids. Couldn't recommend anywhere better - will definitely be returning.

Made use of special on Grabone. Steak was nice and tender. Blue cod was prepared and presented well. Great service too. Was good special. Service was great. Like the history and decor. Will go again
Don't use their online booking option. You will arrive to find your table has been cancelled and you "should have known that as we sent you an email". Most people would think if you're going to cancel on someone you would ring them at least as a common courtesy.
Cosy bar , interesting place, good service
