While cruising the bay coming from Auckland, our alternator stopped working, leaving us with dying batteries amongst other related ailments. I called James and he could visit straight after we arrived at Opua Marina, look at the issue and sort the whole thing in 24h. We could go back quickly on our trip. Great service!
Staff are friendly but owner gets a tad grumpy. Don't ask how long it may take. Also its not cheap to get an outboard done there so if you are on a budget and have some hands on ability go buy some tools and YouTube your way through the repairs. If not I guess pay up.

Very bad experience some years ago. They made a mistake on my generator which could had been dramatic. They never recognised their mistake... The manager, James, is not to be trusted. Agree with Karl, Nick & Matthew.
