My second time at Javaman, two years after the first visit, and still awesome. Glad to see they are still as awesome as I remember. The coffee, chai and caramel milkshake we had was really good. The pulled pork burger was really interesting and delicious. Definitely something different in a good way. Staff was really friendly, helpful and polite. Bathrooms was also clean and tidy. Definitely a great place to stop
I had a lovely Vietnamese pork bun at Javaman today - delicious pulled pork with fresh herbs and chilli in a bun. The crispy hand-made fries were amazing too. My only complaint is that I’m a slow eater and it was such a generous portion it took me a long time to eat! I’m still full now :
Went for breakfast with my 2 little ones, friendly, quick service, I had eggs bene with smoked salmon & and long black coffee which was lukewarm, my kids had the blueberry pancake which they really enjoyed and iced chocolates. Good portion sizes. Overall we enjoyed our meals

Coffee was really good, but food reached our table and was cold. Food was hot chips, eggs Benedict and chic waffle. Tasted nice but was cold. GF range is amazing!!
Food was good, hot chocolate was average. But disappointed in the quantity, tiny amount of mushrooms and only 5 baby spinach leaves over 2 pieces of bread. Up the amount, was very expensive for eggs on cibatta otherwise
The place to go for keto food. I know everything has gone up in price, but takeaway options were a little too expensive for me. The dine options are fantastic and the meals are a great size. Overall, it was a great experience.
Amazing, friendly young gentleman at counter. Thought that when he asked for assistance from female chef she was extremely rude to him. Food was delicious.
Fantastic range of cabinet food for people with dietary requirements, like GF. I was spoilt for choice. Great service. Lovely food presentation. Thank you! Will definitely be back when I’m next in Whakatane for work!
