The bakery food is to die for.... DELICIOUS DELICIOUS! The almond crossonts are a delight or the ottaway donuts. You have to get in there quick before 11am otherwise they are normally gone. Very gourmet store too, nice layout and the produce and stock is well presented. A delightful shopping experience in this store when I come through Kaiwaka... The food is slightly overpriced but the shopping experience overrides that so I'm not bothered to pay a little extra...
Not too bad, wide selection
They have a wide selection of things and staff are very helpful Also it is convenient for me on the way home from work
Staff are an absolute delight here, but shamefully, price gouging is rife. $8 for a cauliflower, over $7 for 500 gms of butter, to name but a few. Rip off. You'd be better off doing an online shop & paying the $14 delivery fee.

Huge fan of this place, usually I find 4 squares to be very pricey and a bad experience due to that. However not here! Well priced, friendly staff, great fresh bakery section, and great to provide the electric car top up machine for the public out front!
Good for lunch shops with often a change or added options now and again. Change of owners recently, outer gardens pulled out makes for better visibility when pulling in.
This must be the most helpful and friendly store i have found in all my time in the North. This family owned and operated business, have upheld their reputation from the days when my parents shopped @ Jaques Four Square, close to 50years ago. Their family business has certainly is something to be proud of.
As a 4 square shop they are One of the best in the country, the staff are always pleasant and helpful, they will order in any particular fancy for food you have, they have a great range of cooked on the premises bread, they have fresh meat and fish, I have known Greg the owner for number of years and admire his acumen.
