We had such an amazing time with Yuki. We booked her class because my dad is an intermediate chef and she offered a custom class that allowed us to all learn and have fun together. We won't ever forget the class and we made such delicious healthy food, it was surprising how little salt oil etc was involved! Yuki had a wealth of knowledge about the ingredients and the science behind them. It was easy to follow and I'm looking forward to doing more classes online and trying the recipes myself at home!
Fantastic class with Yuki, intimate but relaxed, incredibly engaging and mostly a lot of delicious fun. Highly recommended.
A great experience - the chef is a very friendly person, making the atmosphere relaxed yet educational and tasty. I personally did not learn way lot during the gourmet sushi and sashimi master class but there were a few things I knew about and was budget to start doing at home. All the cooking process was transparent and the chef did not try to hide any secrets. The quality of products and fish was great. I also appreciated that aside from the masterclass it was a great culinary experience and we had a lot of tasty food to try. I definitely recommend this school to sushi lovers, especially if you haven’t booked sushi at home yet
Yuki is an absolutely wonderful chef and teacher, she helped us create a bespoke workshop to immerse our team for a client at work, we learnt a huge amount and had a fantastic time. Yuki hosts you at her house, which feels very intimate and special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Japanese cuisine.
I did the Ramen 3 Flavors class and I loved it! I was a bit unsure about how engaging it would be since it is not hands on like some of the classes, but Yuki does a great job of engaging people. She was very personable and took time to get to know us and understand our experience while still having plenty of time to thoroughly explain the recipes and answer all questions. Her process for creating ramen from scratch was surprisingly straightforward, and she made it very clear that you do not need to have any high level skills or tools, nor do you need a massive kitchen or loads of time. It was definitely a worthwhile experience and I'd love to do more classes with her!
This was one of the best cooking courses I have ever been to. I would describe it as an interactive intimate cooking demonstration that is educational, interesting and entertaining. Yuki is incredible - one of the most impressive, kind, intellectual people I have met and it was so wonderful to hear all of her stories, alongside teaching us how to make the most delicious ramen. I would highly recommend!!
It’s an amazing experience, very friendly environment and great atmosphere! It was a present for my boyfriend and when we were arriving, I had high expectations based on previous reviews and especially didn’t want to disappoint my boyfriend. But there was no need to worry - Yuki is a lovely person, the knowledge she has about Japanese cuisine is endless and the class is very playful and chatty! High quality knowledge and high quality ingredients! Perfect for any sushi enthusiasts, individuals, friends or couples - anybody would enjoy it! Definitely worth every single penny!
I went to the Sushi making class run by Yuki as a birthday gift and it was excellent. Yuki has a fantastic way of teaching the class which was fun and welcoming, delivered from her beautiful home. The 2 hour session was full of helpful tips and tricks and the hands-on approach resulted in a huge plate full of various Maki roll's which I ate at the end with a glass of wine. It's rewarding to learn and make at the same time, especially with food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yuki's Kitchen to anyone who is interested in learning more about Japanese food, cooking and culture – it was brilliant.
We attended Yuki’s Okonomiyaki online course yesterday evening. It was fantastic. Yuki’s instructions were really clear and she made the session fun and inclusive. The dish turned out really well and was delicious . I can see us making the dish again and again. I would highly recommend Yuki’s courses. We’ll be booking another course soon and I’m also going to buy gift vouchers so my friends can book courses also.
We thoroughly enjoyed Yuki's vegan ramen cooking class. The format over Zoom works really well especially as Yuki has multiple cameras to show close-ups of things if need be and the pace of the class was perfect. We had the opportunity to learn lots about Japanese cooking and ask lots of questions whilst making this delicious meal. Yuki provides very clear guidelines for ingredients and prep before the class too and always answered my query emails super quick. I've always wanted to make ramen but have been daunted by unfamiliar ingredients and ensuring it is vegan. This was the perfect way to learn and make ramen accessible - I would highly recommend it!
