Can’t say I’ve ever played a more beautiful course in my admittedly short time a golfer.nVisited here on my birthday a few days ago and despite the mixed weather had a great time with my pairing on these stunning 18-holes.nChallenging, well maintained, one hole more beautiful than the next especially on the front 9.nnCan only recommend to play here!
Absolutely fantastic place to spend time in Queenstown. My husband golfed here in the morning and couldn’t stop talking about what an incredible experience it was.nnI joined him after he played for lunch in the restaurant and it really took my breath away. The menu isn’t huge, but everything we tried on it was an easy, five stars, really lovely food. And great service.nnEven if you don’t play gold this place would be lovely to visit because it seems to be in the middle of all the beauty.
MORNING IN HEAVEN ! Easy accommodating booking, friendly staff, excellent new hire equipment cart included in fee and amazing designed golf course. The complimentary balls for warm up on the range was generous. Stunning views from each T box, challenging narrow dog leg fairways, demanding precision, distance control off the T. Manicured fairways, greens recently sanded, but OK. The half way house was sadly closed but did include a BBQ. The phots below do not do it justice - clearly a place in heaven for golfers !
Its a really beautiful golf course, right on the water with amazing mountain views, People were sky diving nearby, it was just stunning.nnThe only downside, and its surprisingly big, is their golf carts are totally annoying. They have A LOT OF unmarked zones that you can't drive into, and all of the sudden the cart stops and tells you to back out. It happened at least 5 times for me in one round. I know a lot of other courses have this, but in the other courses, its pretty well marked.nnThe other part is the carts are programmed to go extremely slowly over certain areas, like bridgesbut also other random places they don't think their customers can handle. So you are driving at less than walking speed for little chunks of time. Weird that someone put it in working that way and thinks its working.......
Delicious breakfast, menu not extensive, but to be expected from a venue like this. I had poached eggs on toast with a mushroom and bacon and wasn't expecting the bread to be fried, although very tasty, a bit oily for me. I would ask for normal toast next time. The meals are small but very good. Amazing views, playing golf would have been a great addition for us!
