We had an excellent time at Jacks Point Golf Course. Booking a tee time was a breeze. Once there we were greeted by friendly staff who got us all taken care of for our day on the course. The course is challenging but fun. A little bit of distraction with the amazing views but I’m not complaining. Met some people on the course and everyone was super friendly and having a great time. Highly recommend checking this beautiful golf course out.
Amazing golf course! The views will distract you from your poor shots. Difficult to play but I had an amazing time on the course. Pack extra balls. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Greens are fast with lots of slopes. Loved the whole experience! Thank you, Jack’s Point!
This is a well overrated golf club and strongly suggest playing Millbrook Golf Club instead. 36 holes on offer at Millbrook as opposed fo 18.nnVery nice fairway but shabby greens with some weeds and dead spots coming through.nnUndulation was well out of whack for a course at this level and having to play 25 metres above your feet to a green and having ridiculous bunkers and swales making it so tough to get the ball to the green and carry all those traps and hazards.nnPro shop staff rude and passive aggressive people rushing you to get to the 1st tee, even though we were 10 mins early to tea time waiting to tee off.n15m to wait for a Ham and Cheese croissant to be lightly heated. No one else in line and staff under the pump chatting and doing necessary things. So annoying.nnPro shop merchandise. Well well. Nothing to buy clothing wise and end of season excuses from staff. Totally not acceptable compared to the other courses in the area. Millbrook, Hills, Arrowtown etc etc.nnScenery and remarkables to view is out of this world however.
One thing that distracts you from focusing on your play is stunning view, and the other is a gale that oftentimes works as a source of trouble when playing at Jack's Point even under the sunny sky.nnWe had an unforgettable time on this course while want to forget our terrible scoreslol.nnDon't forget to pack plenty of extra balls before playing!
We’ve been returning every couple of years and always looked forward to brunch at Jack’s Point Golf Course, recommending it as a hidden gem to anyone visiting Queenstown. Sadly, never again.nnOur bacon and eggs was exactly that—one lonely piece of bacon and eggs, $NZ50 nothing more. Absolutely disgraceful. For a place calling itself a restaurant or café, the serving was miserable and showed no care or hospitality.nnHas something changed in the last few years? Has it changed hands? Whatever has happened, the standard has dropped dramatically, and it’s a real disappointment.
