Banana smoothie was really nice. The single patty chur burger was dry and disappointing. Especially for a BBQ joint. I would have thought they would make smash burgers but that may just be personal preference. I also got the Go Big - Full Island plate, which was average taste wise, nothing amazing. The coleslaw wasn't pleasant, however, their teriyaki lamb was delicious. If I go again, I'd love to try their steak.
Customer Service was pleasant, once we finally got served. They don't take Phone Orders or Online Orders. This Review is only for the Steak Meal as they had No Other Meals Available. I ordered The Sirlion Steak with Creamy Mushroom. All Steak meals come with Mac salad, coleslaw and chips with a garden salad. The Mushrooms were in a separate container which I was grateful for. I decomposed my dinner as my Mac and coleslaw wasn't nice to eat. I saved the garden salad luckily. Bbq Steak was perfectly cooked, Mushroom Sauce was Yum, but the salads, chips were a let down.
Not worth the money anymore. Used to love this place but the portions are getting smaller, to the point where I can comfortably fit all the food in a smaller plate. Food temperature is also cold, so always having to heat up the food when we get home. I don’t understand why they insist on keeping the ribs and saying they are unable to replace the pork ribs with other meat options, especially when some of us don’t eat pork and the pork ribs are terrible. Anytime our family order, the ribs are always left untouched and thrown away. The wings and lamb chops are good but due to it being cold and then having the ribs waste space and money, the price for these plates just isn’t worth it anymore.
Been here before and was great! However lately has been a big let down. Went here today 22/09 to grab dinner got a lamb meal and was so disappointed at the money wasted. The meat smelt off, rice was dry and cold, coleslaw was disgusting then the mac and cheese was gross. Such a big let down. Would not be returning again.
Delicious! The food is so good! I had the normal sized steak+mushrooms and my boyfriend had the large island bbq! Both were so yummy. I will definitely be going back. Underneath is coleslaw and pasta salad oh! Dont get uber eats!!!! Go to the shop and get it fresh! It will be worth it
The only good thing about this meal was that it was dropped off by Uber in a timely manner. Food was below average the price charged was robbery for what we received. The portions and cuts of meat was questionable. Will be our last purchase.
the menu we picked was sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, hot chips, coleslaw n lettuce. strawberry milkshake. i reli enjoyed it. steak nice n tender. well done guys. may your business prosper from this day forward. God bless. lime flavour nxt time lol
This burger was so mouth watering, the taste was everything I expected, tasty hot or cold, cooked to perfection, friendly serve, worth da wait, I recommend to All burger loves taste da BBQ
Wow, a friend of mine recommended Island BBQ and I tell you what it was worth the drive form the North Shore. I ordered, bone in rib eye, brisket, ribs, fried chicken, sweet chili chicken wings and teriyaki lambchops. most also include mac n cheese, coleslaw and rice or chips. The steak was half the price of any other place I have been, but cooked just as well if not better. All the other food tasted fantastic and I have since happily recommended to numerous people. Only down side is if you want to dine in you will need to bring a steak knife and fork.
1st time @ bbq island. Ordered 1 steak N mushroom plate, 1 single mighty CHURR burger. However my Steak N Mushroom was bland aka tasteless, the plate was simple not extravagant for the price. I left with a aching wallet. Had to fulfill my cravings @ TANZ kitchen, $8 for a monster pack DAANG!
