Irishman Creek Station is a sheep and beef farm nestled just south of Lake Tekapo among the wide mountainous region of Mackenzie Basin located in the South Island of New Zealand. The backdrop of the farm is vast sweeping ranges, spotted with snowy peaks and low rolling tussock fields cut through by flowing rivers and streams. Where the rivers pool is where the true magic of the Mackenzie Country occurs. The blue lakes reflect back the towering summits of the surrounding mountains and the glowing sunsets cast an array of red hues over the shimmer of the evening glacial waters. The Mackenzie Basin has an oceanic climate which experiences mild, sunny summers and cold, dry winters making it the ideal environment for a range of outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, boating and skiing.
