Delicious Food, we went there after Greytown Mid-Winter Christmas Festival. Food quality and flavors were mind blowing. We will be visiting again definitely
We had some guests stating over for the weekend and decided we would like an Indian take away meal for dinner. I have had take aways from the Indian Taj before and really enjoyed it so thought I would go back there again. I looked up the online menu and placed my order which would be ready in 30 minutes. When I picked up the order it wasn't what I had ordered. After going over this with the gentleman not sure who he was he pointed out I had used the wrong out of date menu when ordering. As our guests had special dietary needs I couldn't take what had prepared. However this lovely gentleman said he would remake the order to what I had selected and not charge me for what was my mistake. What a magnificent gesture and exceptional customer service. When I went to pick up my order I offered a tip as some compensation but he would not accept it. You guys are amazing and the meal was up to its usual tasty high standard and enjoyed by all our guests. I will be gong back to Indian Taj again, with the correct menu this time. I would highly recommend the Indian Taj to anyone looking for a great Indian meal.
Absolutely beautiful food, I ordered through delivery and it was just perfect. My go to is a mushroom masala and it’s one of those dishes you think afterwards, wow when can I get that again. Every time it’s just as good and delicious as you remember. Thank you!!Food: 5/5
Absolutely excellent curry! Flavor profile was sublime, onion baji and pakora were excellent, lamb saag and matter paneer were one of the best I've had in New Zealand, breads were also fluffy and crispy. Seriously one of my all time top ten curries. Highly recommended!

Indian Taj is living upto its name- delicious, mouth watering food, a pleasant environment and great customer service from the wait staff and the Manager- The manager goes above and beyond to cater for your specific needs, good conversationalist too To the guys in the kitchen- the food was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be coming for more. This is hands-down my favorite restaurant of all time, the greatest butter chicken you will ever devour, thank you to syed and staff for being very welcoming and professional at your job, I look forward to trying out the new Turkish shop being opened next door too :
