After a morning at the markets, we had the most delicious Indian lunch ever! Our taste buds were on cloud nine, Even the Naan hit the spot. We have our new favourite Indian : Will visit again for sure next time were in Matamata
We went on a weekday and it was pretty empty so we nearly bailed to go elsewhere - we were all so glad we didn’t.nnThe Chicken Korma and the Goat Curry were our favourites. Although the Butter Chicken and Mixed Seafood were also good. Get the garlic naan of course, and ask to swap a rice to jeera rice if you can for some more variety.nnPortion sizes could be a little larger for the curries given the price.nnGreat spot!

What a surprising find in little Matamata! Outstanding Indian fare. I find the quality of the entrees are a good indicator of a great Indian restaurant. The samosa, bhaji and tandoori chicken pieces were beautiful. We had a sample of 4 mains and every one was delicious. Service was friendly, warm and efficient, despite the kitchen being quite busy….another good sign.
First time coming here for dinner - great service and amazing food. I had the Indian Style Butter chicken. We will definitely come back.
