When we arrived on this particular night they were short staffed but the young man who served us went above and beyond to accommodate not only us but the takeaway meal orders. The meals we ordered were absolutely delicious and plentiful and we thought reasonably priced, many thanks Indian Spice for a great evening.
Enjoyed our time here as the service was attentive and friendly. The orders came out pretty quickly without long wait times between entrees and mains. The location is beautiful too with water views if you choose the outdoor seating. Overall a good experience, will visit again in future.

The price was reasonable the food was ok. But my son's butter chicken was not a normal butter chicken. The taste was so sweet it was like they dropped a whole bowl of sugar in it. Probably won't be back unfortunately.
Very accommodating staff, lovely food with a winter lunch special of curry, rice and Nan bread $12.50 ea. We paid extra for Lamb $2and were very happy with our meals. Restaurant was very clean and well presented, just a little cold with no heating for winter patrons.

Went at lunch to celebrate, mmmm , don't ask for a full menu , dont ask for samosa or any entree , NO we dont microwave our samosas or entrees and chef is busy doing prep ..... well bing bing , you were microwaving something.... just not any entrees for us . Left hungry and disappointed will not return , sad as were local and am now having fish at FRESH N TASTY .
Decent value for money in regards to the lunch menu, place could do with some background music though as it was silent in there and lacked atmosphere.
The food is excellent but the restaurant smelt strongly of cigarettes and the courtyard could have done with being swept of dirt and cigarette butts ... also would be nice to have tables and chairs outside rather than old picnic tables. Had just opened... was not the end of the night. Will definately get takeaways from here but would not sit in again.
Value for money and delicious delish to eat. The lunch time special is a fab deal. Service is friendly. I don't think you could get a better deal anywhere in Monganui and leave with such a full tummy. Fab Indian Spice
