We had Paneer Tikka masala and Kadhai Paneer along with garlic naan. The Paneer was fresh and the food was really good. We also had chocolate brownie. They provided good portions and the prices were reasonable. A family runs this restaurant and they did a good job. Highly recommended to anyone.
Stopped here on the way to Paihia. The Indo Chinese dishes were just better than average. We had the chilli chicken, and the lollipop. The goat biriyani was also good but nothing to rave about. The onion bhajjis were the best I had in Australia and NZ. I could go back just for that . I still would give a 4 star rating because the service was good, and the onion bhajji
Me and my partner have eaten here twice now and kid you not they didn’t disappoint! We ordered the butter chicken, chicken korma, lamb rogan josh, chips, garlic naan and cheese n garlic naan. Restaurant is cozy, friendly staff, yum as food we left satisfied 10/10 recommend to anyone.
We drove all the way from Coopers Beach because we were previously impressed by Indian Spice in Mangonui before it was sadly shut down.nnFortunately to our excitement, the quality of Indian Spice in Kaitaia was just as impressive!nnWe ordered:nOnion Bhaji, $8.99nBeef Korma, $12.99nGoan Fish Curry, $22.99nStuffed Naan, $6.00nRaita, $4.50nnThis was a lot of food between two people, but we managed to get through our order with just some naan and curry to take back with us.nnThe Onion Bhaji was irresistibly crispy, moorish and accompanied by a deliciously tangy sauce. The Beef Korma was served with the most tender meat. The Goan Fish Curry was expertly cooked, enveloped in vibrant flavours.nnWe actually think this may be the best Indian food in New Zealand.
Theres guys are awesome. Best quality Indian food in town. Not the cheapest. But thats why I like them, it all tastes like its made from scratch
