Really great Indian meal - a must try if you are at Waihi Beach. We had lamb saag, butter chicken, vegetable masala, 3 garlic naan and 1 kingfisher beer. Total cost $69. Service was fast, the curries were re Wally tasty and the naan breads we're superb.
The young man at the counter when we walked in had no customer relations - was very rude and didn’t show us to a table. Another couple walked out while we were there for this same reason ! Food was average - two staff members sat in the restaurant talking loudly while we were dining . We went up to pay and the young man continued to text while we paid . The young lady waitress was polite enough but overall the service was shocking . The highlight of the evening was the generous pouring of wine Will not be returning.....
Been twice an the last couple weeks. I'm enjoying the food here. A few Indian dishes I hadn't heard of before so tried those. All have been good.
Would give 0.5 stars. Biriyani was horrible. They used same masala curry for both biriyani and aloo gravy. They did not even care to listen the feedback. Ofcourse all were busy on making origami using the tissue papers. The food is horribly overpriced given the yuck taste. Finally had to order curd rice to eat something. Gulab jamun - You can play pingpong using that. Yuck.. Please consider some other place.
Only had takeaway but have being very impressed with them. Great option after a summer of sausages on the bbq. The Pakoras they sell are a great value snack
We are locals, and have India about once a month. Always greeted by name, even after the second time, their chicken tikka masala is fantastic! Ask for 'authentic' for a better taste experience...
Good indian food to eat in or take out, relaxed atmosphere. Not a flashy place BYO wine. Will go again
Went in a group of 5. We all found the food to be excellent. Will definitely be going again.
