Story

We started our Food Journey in September 2014 from 71 Lunn Ave, Mt Wellington branch with lot of passion and willingness to serve Authentic Real Indian Food to Indians, Kiwis and other communities living in Auckland , with Gods Grace and love from our customers we started Outdoor Catering in August 2015 and got a huge support , we initially planned for parties up till 200 people but with end of year we already did Outdoor parties for 600 people and even went out of Auckland to Cater , Then we felt a need for bigger sitting area and opportunity arrived in Botany South at 5/308 Te Irirangi Drive , Botany South and thus we started our second Restaurant on 2nd April 2016 with capacity of more then 150 People , Yesterday Saturday Evening was first day and Restaurant was almost full , Thanks for love and huge support . Our Indian Accent team works with great passion and honesty and we hope we will grow in near future and will keep our honesty and passion .

Nice ambiance and great food. We arrived late around 10ish but the service and food was still up to the highest standards. Would totally recommend this placeFood: 5/5
the attitude of the receptionist was really bad, we told him half and half at the beginning, he didn't respond to us, he typed a random number, we asked him to explain why you charge more. He is very impatient, not only does not explain, suddenly to be really bad altitude and wave his both hands: you let another person pay first, as for you, I will give you a receipt. Who care about the receipt? Do I care about the money? If you don't follow the one-half way the guest tells you, don't you have to explain it to the guest? Later, his manager came and said he didn't use a calculator. You are a "genius".If you do not take, what you muth used for? If you do not explain, customer will think you will charge extra. Do not recommend
Delicious food and the service was great! I hired them for my wedding reception which was during the Auckland flooding. They went the extra mile to deliver under difficult conditions. Would highly recommend using them as your caterer.
I wish I could give them 0 star . Such a poor service , highly unprofessional staff who proclaimed the waiting time is 15 minutes while we waited 45 minutes to get the food on the tables . The food in some of the other restaurants is much much much delicious . Been in NZ for many years , went to this restaurant for the first time and that was the last time as well . Waste of Money . They want to take as many orders as possible and then make people wait for hours . The Mcktails served had the weirdest taste of all the others we had at other places , yaaakkkk , they definitely lack professionalism and taste which is must for a food outlet.
2017 : one of the best Indian restaurant in Auckland. We loved the food. 2022 : what happened guys ? Aaloo Jera was dry as a well done steak Goat was boiled in Goat Curry. I can still taste it as I write, trust me it's not a good taste.Butter Chicken had no salt or taste. Tava Rarha Murg Chicken had too much yogurt in it. Chicken Briyani had no taste except for ghee and to top these got roti instead of Butter Naan. Chicken Lollipop tasted really bad. We drove an hour to get there to only get takeaways that killed our appetite later at home. I hope you get a better chef or the old chef as you used to serve authentic tasting Indian food.
Amazing service and delicious food. It was fresh and served quickly. Highly recommend this place. Dilraj was looking after our table and his communication was awesome.
If you plan for dinner then order food at lunch time so that you don’t need to wait for the food for so long!!! They took 1 hour and 20 mins to give our food !!!! Worst service experience I ever had, they even mixed the orders for our table and someone else table PS if there is minus star rating I would prefer that
Absolute stunning service at Indian Accent under the wonderful management of Meenakshi. Thank you all so much for the incredible effort you all put in. We booked a buffet for around 60 people and the quality did not disappoint in the slightest. The setup was clean and beautiful, the food was so fresh and always topped up, the drinks were continuously refilled, the plates were all cleared as needed. Everyone was super attentive to our guests and we could not be happier with the service and care we received. 11/10 experience and will definitely be coming back.
Food, ambience everything was just wonderful, specifically talking about the customer service was just 10/10. The staff that was serving our group was Saugat he is just fab with his hospitality, he took a good care of the group and kept checking on all of us if anything else was required. This staff is an asset to the organisation and we will definitely be back.
Food was yummy and the price was better than other Indian restaurants. The food was really tasty. And the price is affordable. We celebrated one of my mats. It Was amazing experience
