An average dine in for Indian food in the area. Some of the dishes like palak paneer was good, but the butter chicken was too sweet & tomato-ish, not the taste expected. Is fairly average & the only gig in town

We popped in for takeaways one evening and our order was promptly taken. We ordered Mango Lassi to drink while we waited; it was excellent. After a short wait we were given our parcel. When we got home and opened it we found that the portions were bigger than we expected and were very tasty.Food: 5/5
Great little place. Holidaying from Wellington and found this place. Food was the best curry we’ve had in a long time, non greasy, well balanced flavours tasted authentic. Clean and quick service. Left my hat and they ran after me to return it!Food: 5/5
Delicious food and good portion sizes. Reasonable service, but wait times can be on the longer side. Prices have recently been increased. Vegetarian options: Section of the menu dedicated to vegetarian meals and sides.

My and my friends ordered some butter chicken and it was the worst I've ever had. Unfortunately there was no space to sit so we had it take away and only found out when we got home otherwise we would have returned it straight away. It was really sweet and didn't taste like butter chicken at all didn't taste like anything but sugar, maybe really sweet tomato soup. Maybe it was just a bad day because there's a lot of good reviews here. Really disappointing experience
Had the mountain goat curry. It was super awesome. The rotis were good too. Will definitely try again when we are back in townFood: 5/5
