One of my new favorite Asian restaurants in Dunedin!!! Definitely top 3. We ordered so much and everything was so delicious. We started with the pecking duck and it was soooo goood and the portion size was generous. Then we had other dishes like tofu, lamb, noodles and more. We were so satisfied by the end of the night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. Definitely coming back again!
Excellent and authentic dishes. The portions are generous. The interior is cosy and beautiful. Atmosphere makes the whole experience way better. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable of the cuisines. Our #1 go to place for special occasions. Sichuan chicken is legendary
The food was amazing and the sitting arrangements were incredibly good. It is one of the best places in dunedin to arrange a get together with family and friends. One of the best chines restaurants in the town.Food: 5/5
Always a great place to take your family or friends for an authentic Chinese food experience. Only one out two places in dunedin that serves Peking duck too. The food is always good. Can get real busy during meal times. Best to book, especially if you want to order Peking duck.Food: 5/5
Used to enjoy this restaurant and recommend it to everyone. Had their food tonight - $47 for a main and small entree takeaway, the main half filled my bowl at home. The Mao pork has become tasteless and the staff have changed. Looks like the manager that made the place so enjoyable and kept the standards up is gone and who I guess is the owner of the restaurant was standing in, which makes sense because I heard that there were issues around paying staff over the months prior. Overall so disappointed, my food was so bad compared to what it used to be and the loss of the manager is a deathblow to the quality of the service.
Food was delicious, service was fast and excellent. Dinning environment is cozy and comfortable. Everything is super nice.
Great food, spicy. Better than most Chinese restaurant
No duck available and we were told to book the duck. We did book a table but we were not told to book the duck. So that was a bit disappointing. Other dishes were average. The lamb skewers were over cooked and and the fried rice was boiled and not fried - we sent it back and kindly was taken off the menu. The prawns were nice and fresh.
Food is great, portions are huge!Food: 4/5
Might be the best Chinese restaurant in NZ, just my subjective opinion.
