Right from the moment me and my friend entered All the staff helping us seemed kind of awkward and they forgot to give us our utensils, for example. As other reviews mention, the music was really loud and was actually turned up even louder shortly after we entered. It even kept playing Spotify Free advertisements throughout the whole restaurant. Very unprofessional. I ordered a burger while my friend ordered a pizza dish. Our drinks and my friend’s pizza dish were quickly delivered to our table but I had to wait at least another half an hour for my burger. One of the men of the staff kept telling me it would be there soon. He said “two more minutes” while it still wasn’t there five minutes later. It took a really long time and what I got didn’t even seem to be a burger, at least not one like the menu described. The man from before did offer to have one of my drinks on the house but it didn’t change that the meal itself and my time there was honestly disappointing. I would not recommend this place if you actually care about the food.

Nice place and nice location! The food was very normal! The Pizza was tasting mainly of garlic and was a bit watery, because of the chunks of tomatoes. Also they didn't have olive oils that day!! But it was a cosy place.!

Quite a lovely restaurant, their food is more like comfort food but not the best. I am a fan of the lentil soup, but the one they serve is different that what I am used to get. Also I had the surprise to get different ones on different days, and they are not consistent with the way the serve it. In other restaurants this is usually served with pita, while here once I had it bland, only on the other time they served with normal bread, which was also not very fresh. The interior design is quite beautiful, very good location in the mall. The staff pays attention to your needs, but I believe they could improve the quality of their dishes. Seemed like their customers come there more for brunch, not really for enjoying the food.

Came here yesterday with three people. They were happy to seat us, but then seemed to forget about us completely, with no staff in sight. After about 10 minutes the same waitress who seated us came over to ask if we'd already seen the menu and ordered, which we clearly hadn't. She spoke no Dutch, which is not the end of the world, but her communication skills in English were also not great. She didn't ask us if we wanted drinks first, so we just ordered everything at once. The drinks took a long time to arrive, and didn't come with glasses, just a straw in a bottle, although one of us didn't get a straw at all. The spoon that came with the tea was not clean. The food took a long time and didn't all arrive at once. The ravioli was extremely bland and lukewarm. It just tasted of yoghurt and mint, it was only edible after adding a lot of salt. The chicken had no sauce of any kind, just dry unseasoned rice, fries and some kind of wrap, with a single piece of tomato and a green pepper also thrown onto the plate. None of the food seemed freshly made, rather defrosted and microwaved. The staff was not very friendly and very uninterested, one guy was just working in a hoodie, it was not even clear that he was an employee. Another man, maybe the owner, was the only one who was a little bit friendly. The women's toilets had no toilet paper, the music was way too loud. Also they didn't want to split the bill into three for us. Overall it was extremely mediocre, and if I had read the reviews beforehand, I would have avoided this place. I'm amazed such a bad 'restaurant' can stay in business for this long. It's in an amazing location and it would be better for Utrecht's image if something else replaced Icon.

Caprese with less than half a tomato, a number of stuff that weren't fresh or cooked properly, and a terrible cheesecake. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the cuisine is unappealing.

Very bad experience. Order pizza and spaghetti but all was tasteless. Restaurant is dirty. They didn't clean the table after people left. Waiter busy with the phone while he has to help customers. When i paid they charge for fettuccine that is more expensive than the spaghetti. They let us to pay first and than give the receipt. Absolutely not comeback for dirty food.
