Don't miss it!! We parked at the pull off on side of road and walked down instead of at main car park and it had some nice aerial views. Easy walk but not flat.
This place is majestic.. I loved it so much that I can't have enough of the sound of the water and the beautiful blue color.. Make sure you continue to walk beyond the waterfalls there are more things to see. There is a track for bicycles and alot of bikers go there. The walking track is not suitable for baby pram/jogger so you will need a baby carrier to enjoy the rest of the trip
This is a really cute spot with bright blue waters. It’s easily accessible and right by the parking lot. They do close the gates to this area in the evening when we went it was 8 p.m..

Negative points: - The WC there is a little bit dirty.
Pretty chilly there, definitely bring a jacket if you're heading that way. There are toilets in the carpark, building itself looks a little abandoned but the toilets are clean. Can get a bit crowded on the bridge that looks to the falls but if you go earlier it's not too bad.
What a beautiful crystal clear waterfalls! This is a must visit place when you are in Taopo in New Zealand. You will be amazed by its crystal clear blue colour and its enormous sound of the water! There are a several place for lookouts and you can do easy walk around beyond the waterfalls. Parking is very easy to do as it is right in front before the waterfalls. My personal tip is you to visit in the early morning to see the misty atmosphere!
Worth the stop!! You can walk there by different trails or drive to the car park right next to the falls. Especially impressive after all that rain and when the gates are open. 200,000 litres per minute,is a sight to see for sure.
A majestic and powerful viewing experience. The water is unbelievable shades of blue, the sound of the force of the water fills the air and its hard not to be captivated
Nice place to visit if you want to relax and enjoy the sound. The sear amount of water that flows through here is really impressive. You can have short or long walks along the river if you want.
Fab as usual, clean toilets on standby coz you all know what the sound of running water does to some of you! We walked along to end of flat track and then decide to walk up the start of the 2 hour walk track. Just walk up Hill for 7-10 mins to get to another viewing spot. We also happened to take photos in all directions getting to the falls. Enjoy the photos
