Outstanding service and warm welcoming. When we arrived, it was already late afternoon. We were one of the two tables so food were served faster than usual. I enjoyed the mussels dish and the special inhouse bread.Food: 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. However the main we ordered was not to our liking. The salad and the dessert were good though. Forgot to take a photo of the 2 pieces of bread which to me was plain. And not to mention that the food are pricy.
This restaurant deserves 5 stars for the following reasons; Food; divine! I had the chicken breast and it was cooked to perfection. I also had the chocolate souffle', it was great, paired with a raspberry sorbet and chocolate sauce. Service; It was refreshing to be served by someone who understands and personifies 'genuine kiwi hospitality'. Drinks; I sampled the local craft beer on tap. I don't drink beer usually, but I was told to perhaps try a beer, that was really popular with the locals, I did, and it was like a cider minus lots of sugar. I urge others to try. X-factor; Kiwi hospitality, great food, surrounded by native trees and birds, a memorable experience. Thanks team Huhu, I will be back. Some of the best food I’ve had in all of the north island—what a treasure!! Staff were lovely and the restaurant is gorgeous. Could not recommend more!!!Recommended dishesApple and Rhubarb Crumble
Pretty nice Cafe with good view, located near i-site where you need to check in if you are taking a cave tour any tour. The foods are great. However, please expect it takes time to get your food. We had to wait around 20mins to get our food although the cafe wasn’t too busy at the time. It is quite busy around 1PM so you might want reserve a table if you plan to come around this time.
The food is nice, lack of onsite parking and a smile from the staff. The lady who served our food didn’t even smile or any greetings, felt like she’s not happy to be working that day. We paid on 3 separate bills and they tried to overcharge one of us with another meal, good thing one of us noticed it. The food is okay so I’m giving them 3.5 stars.

A lovely little restaurant with gorgeous view. For entree we had home made. Rewina Bread. My husband had the Smoked pressed pork hock and I had the twice cooked duck leg for mains , all cooked to perfection and had great flavours. I chose the baked cheesecake with mint jelly and chocolate and mint liqueur. Also very nice. The service was excellent. Highly recommend
Food, atmosphere, drinks Fish bites, fresh, super crunchy and tastes amazing Pumpkin Risotto balls, delicious blend of flavours, cheesy and full of flavour Even plain chips were yummy! Please try the Peach Bomb drink, it's one of the best drinks I've ever had. Cannot even describe it, it's just real peach flavour and sparkling like a sherbet bomb in your mouth. So delicious!
Lovely food as you can see by my photos , very clean , friendly staff but not a lot of parking but there is some across the road. Can't wait to visit there again.Food: 5/5
