Ah, so glad there is at least a decent cafe to sit and refill after checking in after initially feeling disappointed at the lack of offering The falafel wrap was lovely and the cappuccino decent. Can’t ask for more really.
Got my own 10o.z mug for a small coffee, staff charged me for a medium, I explained and show her the picture of the capacity , she doesn’t bother to care says I changed for small anyway. Thanks to morning shift staff, coffee was good, but the attitude could be better.
Good vibe and place to pass the time. The gluten free oat loaf was definitely edible, but avoid the matcha latte at all costs. It’s green but I don’t think there is any matcha in it. It didn’t taste like matcha at all. There was a disgusting smell and aftertaste. I tried to push through but could any stomachs a few sips and left the rest of my $8 drink. My husband did warn me it was bad that they use some kind of sweet syrup not matcha powder but I thought ‘how bad could it be?’. Believe me. It’s that bad. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
At 5am in the morning, it be great if your staff smiled and made u feel welcome, instead its a grumpy lady Shelley Duong making the coffee. She needs more trainimg in customer service.
Greedy management. I found the price of everything here to be a prime example of profiteering: $7 for 330ml drink and $15 for a ham & cheese toastie. As they have a captive market with plenty of foot traffic going past, this seems to me to be excessive price gouging. The same items at Christchurch Airport were 60% less.
Price gouging at its finest! $11.00 for a meat pie? Everything is so overpriced I’m amazed people are buying anything at all. I guess a fool and their money are easily parted.
Ah, bliss. Normally I find the ticking time bomb of checking in and boarding a flight to be one of the most stressful things in life. So to be able to get through the necessary protocol a bit early and sit and enjoy a leisurely bourbon and coke sans mask a great help to the blood pressure.
A quick fix for light meals. Their staff was nice and the meal options are of a wide range in terms of cold dishes. The sweets look nice but I always grabed the eggs tagged as the protein pot. They accept ALIPAY and Wechat pay which is friendly for Chinese visitors. Will come often when I fly domestic.
Really fast coffee service and good food options. Compared with the cafes downstairs, I think it is a much better option. Only downside for me is that the coffee was a bit hot to carry, I needed a cup sleeve thingy which wasn't available.
Insane price gouging. $9 for a croissant is exorbitant. I could buy a pack of 6 for less. If you need breakfast or anything else while at the airport, get it before going through security.
