Great venue. Good selection of drinks with reasonable prices. Food was excellent with a variety of choices. The band playing when we visited was called The Banned and was phenomenal! The place was rocking! Staff were fantastic.

Have been to Huapai Tavern many times in past mainly for lunch. Took our dog there in the outside area on a good few occasions with no problem after reading it was dog friendly on the website. Dropped in the other day and this young officious barmaid told us we weren’t allowed to bring our dog. We said that we had taken our dog to the outside area in the past and as far as we were aware it was a dog friendly pub and the young barmaid said determinedly that we were wrong and that Huapai Tavern has NEVER allowed dogs. The management need to educate huffy ignorant new staff on bar practices and policies and employ ones that are friendly towards the public they will lose customers
We decided to stop off at Huapai Tavern for lunch on our way home from a night away, as it being Our 3 year wedding anniversary. THE STAFF: A+++ Friendly welcome at entry, Awesome Service, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Big ups to the Chef & helping hands Seafood Chowder/Garlic bread & Crumbed Scallop meal was absolutely filling and so tasty, loved it! Quick to remedy our unfortunate mishap, as another patron stole our $20 from our machine in the gaming room, even though they didnt have too, much appreciated their hospitality and generous act.nThank you for a memorable time that's for sure! We will be back!
