We love this place as our local.- the beers are cold the atmosphere is great. I cant complain about that. The only thing I hold as a negative is the price of food. The menu for pub food is bloody expensive. It was tasty and well cooked. I didn't particularly like mince on the meat lovers pizza. That didn't belong there. Overall we will be back often.
Good pub, friendly. Has live music on certain nights. Meals nice, good menu choice…a negative was the pepper sauce, it looked like a curdled blob & not appetising also it swamped the steak, was expecting the pepper sauce to be a gravy..disappointing & the steak was only average, other meals ok. Hope the sauces improve. Despite this, would still recommend.
Good old local pub. Good food, good service, and good old range of drinks.nNothing fancy but that is reflected in the prices. Nothing like sitting on a stool at a leaner with a good pint of beer and a plate of fries!
PSA. Do not, I repeat DO NOT order sticky date pudding. You will recieve a dry cold date muffin. Worst ive ever had. Theyd be better of serving a 30second microwavable aunt betty cup.
Came here for lunch 1st time loved the taste of the kai but not the size/ portion. Would definitely return though surf & turf- steak was delicious
