the best indian food i’ve had in a while! i had paneer and we tried different kinds of naan. the cheesy garlic naan was by far the best. food came out quick too.nngreat food for a great value! perfect for bigger parties as well.
We just went there for dinner. Food is very good quality, great ambience, and the hospitality of couple is wonderful . We went there after reading their Google reviews . Dall makhhani was really makhhani . Very tasty with Nanz. Kashmiri pulao was a good option if you love nuts . And luckily we got onion salad for no cost . Thankyou . This will be our forever dining spot in Rotorua from now.
The accolades The House of Spice has accumulated over time are more than deserved: the food is superb! I have enjoyed Indian food in many places around the world. This kitchen is magic.nThe manager owner? was most kind and very helpful about the menu and the level of heat we would like. My wife likes hot food, and after expressing so, we were redirected kindly to mild-to-medium which was the right level of heat she appreciates
We tried a bunch of different dishes. Everything was amazing. The spice levels that we asked for were spot on and oh my gosh so good highly recommend.
I would like to say that, for me, this restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The curry was fabulous. I also found the atmosphere really pleasant, and the guy was really friendly.nHowever, I recommend not choosing food that is too spicy if you’re not used to it, because it does get hot quite quickly. But even if you do, in my case for example, he gave me an ice cream and I was really happy.nThat’s all I have to say. Thank you again and best wishes for the future.
