Had amazing experience… 4.5 rating is injustice to such taste and service. Had Tandoori Tikka, Fish Tikka, cheese naan and chicken Karahi. Full of authentic taste budget friendly.
Had a lovely Indian dinner at Spice of Indian. The dishes were full of flavor and beautifully spiced. A great spot if you're craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.
We enjoyed our holiday stay and were fortunate to come across this restaurant, open on Labour Day weekend. The place wasn't busy and loud, which was nice. The atmosphere was very nice and the food tasted delicious. The service was hospitable and attentive. The price of the food was reasonable too. We'd come back here again.
We had 3 different meals with lamb. We could choose the spice level for each of them.nThe food was delicious and we could still our craving for spicy food.nThe garlic naan was also delicious.nnStaff was very friendly.nThe atmosphere seems a bit dated though but that should not stop you from eating there
House of Spice is a real gem in Rotorua. The food is bursting with authentic flavours – every curry I tried was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The naan came out soft and fresh, and the portions were very generous. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking.nnThe staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, attentive, and quick to check in without being overbearing. I appreciated how they happily adjusted spice levels and explained dishes when asked.nnThe setting is simple but comfortable, and while the atmosphere isn’t fancy, the food and service more than make up for it. If you’re after delicious Indian cuisine and genuine hospitality, House of Spice is an excellent choice.
