Good spot to come unwind and refresh. Gets pretty busy but you'll be sure to find a small spot to claim for a while. The water isn't super hot, but after a dip in the cold Waikato River, it'll feel a.million bucks.
It was so beautiful here! So glad we stopped in for a look, my girl had a soak in the hot pools and loved it. They also have toilets and changing rooms nearby.
Great facilities, change rooms, toilets, cafe, seating. But the actual hot pools area was alot smaller than i expected! Luckily i was able to get 1 small spot for myself. Water was cool down in the main river area which i expected would be hot. A nice experience, but i wouldn't go back personally
So nice but need swimming shoes you will get cuts on your feet as many rocks. Beautiful place and relaxing.
A lovely trek from Huka falls down to this space was well worth it. When you enter the water the top part feels warm and the bottom feels very cold but the closer you get to the falls the warmer the water. Its a great litte area which includes changing rooms and a public toilet which is helful.
