I used to love coming here and getting a custard square and a passion fruit muffin. However this afternoon I got both and the custard was like liquid and had a very thin layer also the pastry was undercooked and felt like chewing on cardboard. The muffin was dense and gluggy. New owners are definable dropping the ball here. Certainly rather go into town to other bakery’s from now on.
My husband cannot go past without stopping for a sausage roll. The quality varies but he's loyal. I wish there was more vegetarian food but love the apple strudel.
A new girl on the counter, she was lovely and polite, served me very well. I asked for a heated panini and a coffee and went sat outside. It took over 10 mins for my coffee, no panini arrived, I had an appointment and had to leave so asked for my panini to take away. Once I got it it was over cooked and way too crunchy to eat. It wasn't the girl at the counters fault, she was serving the line of customers and no one else seemed to be helping get the food out to the tables. I felt sorry for her, others should have been helping to get food to tables how can she do both??nI paid $18 for this experience. Very disappointing.
Been to here twice. Excellent environment. The food is delicious, especially the egg Benedict, it’s really mouth watering.
Good coffee. Decent serving sizes but a little slow when busy. Plenty of covered outdoor seating for sunny days.
