My husband took boxes full of clothing to the hospice today and was treated rudely by a lady. She went through the boxes and tossed clothing aside that 'had dirt on them'. None of those items were dirty. She also told him to hurry up. This hospice will not see us again, totally unacceptable. My review is not the first to say that the staff is rude
I visited this store today with my 2 year old. There was an older lady working there who kept commenting on how difficult my child must be, how he looks like really hard work etc. Comments like that are not appreciated. My child is a happy, normal 2 year old boy.
Took a pair of near new children's ski boots, asking if they would like them.nThe chap in the warehouse who accepts inwards seemed very uptight and bluntly snapped, no, no use to them they don't sell.nHate to give these guys a poor review as Hospice it self dose exceptional work for the community, but it was plain rude!.nWent to St Stephen's OP shop where I was greeted with a smile and told thank you.
I’ll never forget how I was horribly treated today. I was buying a toy for my son on Xmas Eve. It was a little teddy for $7, as I was paying the older woman Grinched us when I simply pointed that it had a hole in it. She SNATCHED IT and threw it away!!!! I was utterly gobsmacked. How rude!!!!! She didn’t explain she didn’t apologize, just snatched it and threw it. How horrible. Most of the time there’s a nice patient person there who actually asks the experts out the back and reprices it if there’s damage. I was speechless. Was wanting to fix it and gift to my son for Xmas. But not now. He’s going to miss out on a gift I was going to get him and this op shop will have less money. I will never forget what happened today, from this woman on Xmas eve!!!!!!! You are not kind to customers and treat them with such disrespect, you made us feel horrible today.
Nice, Clean & well set out. An assortment of bric ō brac, decent range of clothing, books, jewellery & an array of kids toys. Prices are average but there are a coupe of things that may be worth a visit if you're in the area.
