Drove all the the way there with a large group, only to find out it is closed to the public . Only supplies accommodation. Not a hotel , a bit misleading.
Fantastic place to stay for adults and children. The room was beautiful and had incredible views of the Hokianga harbour. Mike the manager was so accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. Would recommend having dinner there as so delicious and wished we could of stayed longer

Unfriendly sign outside. Apparently no bar there anymore. That's fine but no need for such an anti sign. Very off-putting.
Couldn't go in. Even though you ring ahead. Told if we rang the day before it could be a possibity to go and get a drink. Very polite but a no go.
This hotel is only open to staying guests at this time. We went hoping to have a beer as we have done in the past.
