Excellent service and staff were so dog friendly. We ordered today’s special, meat pizza, which had lots of toppings. The crust was next level. Coconut margarita was yum too! Definitely a highlight from our Russell visit.
It’s a perfect spot for lunch or dinner in Russell, don’t forget they only open after 12 at noon. Wood fired Pizza is so awesome. Kumara chips are yummy.

Highly highly recommend the Hone’s Garden for anyone who visiting Russell. The other five star reviews approved how great the food is. I would like to share my experience on how the team helped out with the refund. I accidentally paid twice for the bill. I have only noticed when I back to Auckland. I give them a call to explain the situation and the staff who is taking the call was really supportive even he cannot directly deal with the refund. After few hours, the manager give me a call and suggest two different ways to get refund. He then sent me a email to get all the refund details. Though out the process, I was really appreciate the team and the manager’s effective communication and how professional and patient to deal with the unexpected situations. I would definitely visit the Garden again on my next trip to Russell.
Top food with great drinks on offer. We were recommended Hone by two people prior to coming to Russell and the food was amazing. Great service and our food came out no longer than 10 minutes. A great find and highly recommend if you come to Russell. 5*
