Beautiful well maintained gardens, a lovely place to take the family for a walk. We really liked the visitor area, and the kids loved the playground. Definitely worth doing if you are visiting the area.
Best place we have been to in ages. Lovely gardens and lovely staff, all washed down with a free cuppa! Lovely view of the mount from the gate looking over the fields.
Great area for the kids. The activity sheets are a huge bonus. Perfect for relaxing leisurely strolls
These gardens are well worth a visit. Beautiful plants and trees, rare exotic types that you do not see elsewhere, flowers that are interesting and colourful. Put this site on the top of your visitors list.
Have visited these gardens for many years. It is great to see that Bernie and Rose Hollard vision and legacy are being honoured by the Taranaki Regional Council. Keep up the good work.
Hillard is nice any time of year - the playground lawns and vegetable garden are especially good for children. The centre in the garden has space to sit down make yourself a cuppa and learn a bit about gardening and taranaki
A beautiful spot with a wide variety of self chosen plantings. Plenty of facilities for a great day inside or outside.
Great venue, walks and playground. A place to relax with the family for the day
