Holland Road Yarn Company is open for your knitting, spinning and crafting pleasure. Tash is determined to create a space that fosters the craft community, brings people and inspiration together and celebrates the amazing talents of our local (and international) yarn folk.

Nice yarn shop with a good selection, including a lot from NZ. Staff were very friendly and helpful without being pushy.

Good range, and some stuff I can't get elsewhere. Store owner is super lovely, but the staff I run into in the store are rude and uninterested. Wonder whether I am treated differently because I'm a man in a craft store ?. Leaves me feeling that my custom isn't valued at the store, and that I don't know what I'm doing as a crafter and am unwelcome.

Love love love all of it.  Lovely service. I already had the two patterns and the lady sorry can't remember name now it was few months ago helped me get the correct wool for the projects. The only problem was having to make a choice and not buy everything i wanted!!

I took my mum here to buy some specialty 4ply yarn to knit fingerless gloves with. It was a bit of a mission finding the right lifts to take us to the basement. Once inside the warm shop the friendly staff knew their stock and took us to what we were looking for. Lots of choice from NZ and overseas suppliers.

I ordered from this company 4 weeks ago and I'm yet to receive my yarn I have emailed them regarding my order a week ago and still no answer I'm not happy! bad communicators and slow at dispatching their products and no tracking provided

Very friendly staff. I just started crocheting. The staff patently answer all my stupid questions and suggest things considering my level and experience. I love to visiting the store. I usually feel like a kid in a candy store in there.

Wonderful and varied selection of NZ and international yarns. Staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. This should be the go to place for all your knitting requirements in Wellington.

More yarns and other accessories than they used to have. Also the woman who works Fridays is lovely. I just wish the shop had a more central location like it used to.

Lovely selection of wool, quick ordering, everything you need to knit that Woolie.  Staff knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

What a cute little place, staff r friendly and they even open on Saturday. Great yarn collection too!
