Hokitika's ONE AND ONLY Movie Theatre boasting full digital projection technology and Digital 3D! We also host a wide variety of live performances. Also, Stapletons' Milkbar is open 7 days a week; 7.30am-6pm, serving Delicious Humming Bird coffee, Our Famous Pies as well as Fresh or Toasted Sandwiches, Savouries, Biscuits, Cakes, Tarts, Slices, and our famous Milkshakes, and Smoothies.

Great Cinema, lovely staff. Two Cinemas, one small with comfortable armchairs and sofas and the other large with old fashioned Cinema chairs. Popcorn, ice cream, the usual drinks and lollies available. Well worth it if your stopping in Hokitika.
I was having a discussion with my wife when was the last time we went to the movies. Neither of us could remember . So we went to the 2pm session , The Uncharted , excellent movie . Not to many there but on the plus side we didn't have to rush to get outside . Staff friendly and helpful . And very clean toilets .
Our team at Ornsby Motorcycle Training hired the Reynolds Room over the weekend to hold the classroom segment of our Ride Forever courses. Brent and his team were very accommodating, going above and beyond to help ensure that everything went smoothly for our instructor. It was a very cool set up for our training. We recommend to anyone needing to hire a space for a talk or training event. Nothing beats a big screen! Brent is happy to help wherever he can to ensure the venue fits your needs. Very happy with the coffee and waffles for breakfast. Nice seating out the front in the morning sun.
Loved this little old theatre. They show mainstream and a little more obscure films as well so there's something for everyone. This was perhaps the crispest screen I've ever watched a movie on and sound was great as well! Large popcorn was $5.

Over pricing indeed. Food quality not worth for the price. Waffles were ok, nothing special to be impressed. Coffee was below standard. I paid $7.9 for a decaf soy flat white what’s this price?? ended up I got a very foamy FW! The foam was more than cappuccino excuse me? That’s way too different between FW and Cap. Date scone just too floury and lack of flavour $6.5 ?! I love good food, I’m happy to pay what your food worth for, and how much effort you have put into the food. Bad food can ruin my day especially with breakfast! I rarely to leave review in Google unless the food is too nice or too bad not to share! I hope the owner can read this and improve their coffee quality and review the pricing if it’s up to the market. Good luck.
