We really like this walkway where you can connect with Orakei basin walkway. This is for everyone with no steps or slope. The view is great. Parking is easy to find.
Such a relaxing walk experience: Much recommended
Nice short walk at high tide on boardwalks above the mangroves. Good little beach for a picnic. Water is very shallow, tide comes and goes fast.
The walkway is quiet and you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on this long wooden walkway, through and above the grooves.
This is a great 20 minute walk, in either direction, which connects up the shoreline of Hobson Bay from Martin Wilson field to Tinana Wilson beach. The walk itself is flat with the majority of it on a wooden walk way. This is slick and slippy in the wet, so be careful. It is used a lot by other walkers, cyclists and dog walkers. It's very popular. There is a mini water treatment station by the beach. It is possible to walk up it, again be careful in the wet; be aware that the metal covers on top of it become very, very hot in summer. It is possible to burn yourself quite badly, so keep little children under supervision. The beach is nice and is utilised as a launch pad for swimming, paddle boarding and beach combing. The tidal flow does make it a slight challenge to reach the water when low. Overall a fantastic walk with great views near the heart of Remuera. Park up near the field and you are set to go.
This is one of the most favorite walkways in Auckland, less people, much safer!
