Hoani Waititi Marae

Awesome hot there a little late but ohh my atahua , talent, fabulous work, food was lovely, singing was hopefully seeing him on T V.

Waitangi Day Festivities was very good. Wish we had of arrived earlier to setup a spot, instead arrived at 1pm and it was just so packed, particularly in food area. Cool free event for families.

It's a really fun place. The park is perfect for kids AND adults to have fun on. There's an exercise park in the shade for cardio and a skatepark just next to it. The field is massive for playing sports. Everything you could want.

Nice quiet place to park up and stretch the legs day or night . Not so much at night as no lightning . But definitely a hot spot for sports enthusiasts of all ages races and cultures .

Our late uncle Joe Turner was a Kaumatua here. A place of safety and protection, learning and connection. Mauri ora.
