I'm amused and proud to be visit here todayn11 July 2025nThis is based tp the Historical Place Chinese it was year 18..nFeel lucky can visited this Historical place in Arrowtown.nRecommended to be your vacation list in New Zealand.
As a tourist, didn't find this place as attractive. A bunchnof old settlers hute scattered around the area. The trees around were colourful though - the hills has trees of myriad hues. So may be visit for the surrounding landscape. There areqny walking trails around the Arrowtown area.nFor history enthusiasts this place may be of interest, others may be not worth it ..
Beautiful historical story of early settlement in New Zealand. This is one of the must see towns for visitors. The town and shops are fun to walk up and down and view
Not to take away from the value of preserving this sure. However the information could have been more substantial. Many sites could have better signposts.nnThere was no real information on how living inside the huts might be. Eg no interior furnishes. Understandable for a free public access site.
Sad to learn the history and how hard life was for those early settlers.. Recommend this place!
