The staff were friendly and made sure that we enjoyed our time there. Thanks to all the staff who served us on the day. We had an amazing time. The food was also delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly although the gratin and biscuit were a tad salty. The desserts and appetizers though were all delicious. I especially loved the chocolate sharing platter, green tea panna cotta and the polenta chips. I thought the sauce for it was great.
Excellent restaurant just out of town. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. There happened to be some great live music on this afternoon and the place was super busy but we managed to get a table walking in. Decent variety of drinks including non-alcoholic. Lovely summer outdoor garden atmosphere. It's worth coming out of town for.
My partner and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Our waitress was very friendly and happily came by every now and then to refill our water. We sat outside which, on a spring evening, we found quite comfortable. Drinks ordered came in very generously filled glasses and the food was absolutely delicious. I can really recommend the focaccia but make sure you share - it’s quite a portion! and the pork cheek. In the end, the bill came in surprisingly affordable for the fantastic quality of our experience. Worth a visit!
The first 2 things I loved about this restaurant is the country setting and the great selection of 80s/90s music played at Sat brunch. Great menu selection and decent beverages list. Have heard their desserts were to die for. We ordered The Big Hinge, Eggs Benny with mushrooms and the special, French Toast. Atmosphere is warm, relaxing & inviting. Staff are friendly. There are blankets available for those chillier days.
I’ve been here a few times now and it doesn’t disappoint! The chocolate platter is simply divine, perfect for sharing although it is possible to demolish it all by yourself cough cough. The coffee is always great, the atmosphere within the cafe area is vibrant. Lovely outdoor seating area and a good little patch of grass with a tractor for the kids to play on nice days. When I was there roughly six months ago on a Sunday afternoon there was a guy playing a guitar on the deck out the back and he was fantastic, not sure whether that’s a regular feature or not, but added a great vibe to our visit.
Such a lovely place! Friendly and attentive service, tasteful decor, great food. We had the Hinge and Co platter with some wine as a late lunch and it was awesome. I highly recommend.
Beautiful tasting food! Well plated. Lovely service and nice warm cosy on a cold winter's night.
Outstanding lunch, good service and friendly staff. Situated in the countryside, it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy fresh air, beautiful trees and birdsong.
This is a beautiful country restaurant with a great winter fire and a lovely outlook. Tamara and her chef take every current vegetable and make great dishes. Don't miss the seafood. Lovely situation and not to be missed. Intelligent and curated wine list. Worth the visit.
Great setup with indoor outdoor dinning however for me that was the best part of the experience because the food is average and the price is far to high. had market fish and wife had wild mushrooms and both were just average at best. With so many quality options out there this will be my 1st and last.
