Hillside House is a family home set on the hillside overlooking Otorohanga. We have bedrooms both with queen sized beds.
The Blue room has a double and a single bed. This room has freeview TV. Tea and coffee making facilities and heating. The white room has a double bed, DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is for guests only and has a bath and shower. Both rooms have wonderful views.
Room charges are $80 per night for a couple which includes a continental breakfast of homemade bread and preserves, choice of cereals, fruit, fruit juice and yoghurt.
Evening meals if booked in advance are $20 per person.

Otorohanga is a small country town famous for kiwiana. There is a museum with a half built Waka which was found in a quarry near by and is the only one of its kind in the world. The Kiwi House as a short walk from the house and has many native birds and you will always be able to see a kiwi close up.A short drive away are The Waitomo Caves. A unique experience. You can travel by boat and relax while you see the glow worms above you or you can black water raft. The are experiences to suit everyone in this extensive cave formation.
