Your Hosts:
Jeff and Christine Kuypers welcome you to our family holiday park which is directly opposite the picturesque beach of Hihi, Doubtless Bay.
We have just taken over ownership and have already commenced work on upgrading the facilities including kitchen, bathroom and laundry. For those who have stayed in the past, we would like to welcome you back and hope you appreciate the new lease of life at this little gem of a spot in Doubtless Bay.
You will not be disappointed as this is a real New Zealand holiday park with safe swimming, fishing, dinghies to explore the waters, and space to relax. Our 1.84 hectare holiday park offers plenty of shelter and shade for relaxation and space for the children to have fun and explore.
We are here to ensure that every one of our guests has a wonderful stay at Hihi Beach Holiday Park. We will provide you with all the information you need to experience Northland and the Far North.
We know you will leave here with many fond memories of Hihi.

My family and I were lucky enough to spend the last 4 nights on lot 39 large powered site down the back. The staff were very friendly, Neale was so so helpful when we had problems with our power lead. The place is beautiful, facilities were spotless all day round, it's practically a home away from home. We beat the holiday rush, so it was nice and peaceful. Thank you for sharing your beautiful campground with us! We hope to return again next year!
Had an amazing camping experience at this place. We were given the top most spot on the hill. Sunset was amazing and facilities were also super clean.
Wouldn't recommend, rude staff. Windy location. Staff were really racist and rude. Horrible people, wouldn't return. Worst experience ever staying at a camp ground and I've been traveling NZ for over a year, visited many lovely campgrounds all the way from bluff to the cape. This was by far the worst one I've been to un welcoming people. I wish I never went there tbh. Horrible people Horrible place. Not worth the gas. Others seem to think so to, the place was empty. But all the facilities were locked up, no access. Bad wifi, dirty kitchen, dirty showers and blocked toilets. Timmers on the showers, only 2min. I wouldn't go there again.
We stayed in the campground after Christmas, it's a great place, clean and tidy. We would definitely stay another time in the campground. Charcoal bbq not permitted in the camping but you could do it across the street in the beach.
Very nice campsite, you need nothing more than what they offer. Everyting clean, kitchen full with thing to use. Now spring but i think in summertime a very nice beachspot
We had cabin 10 and honestly think it was the golden spot in the holiday park! Views to die for and the hosts were so lovely. What a fab spot. We will be back with the whole family next time.
Pretty average and expensive for $100/night! Which doesn’t include a towel, a blanket or a fan! Their wifi doesn’t even work : . Nice quiet spot, the area was beautiful. I’d recommend staying somewhere else and driving to HiHi beach.
Well kept tidy camping ground. Had what we needed for our stay. Quiet community to relax after a days travelling.
Lovely little campsite. Very close to the beach 50 meters away. Powered sites are close to all ameneties. Kayaks for hire. Cute little cabins also available. Definitely planning my next holiday here already.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Spotlessly clean facilities, beautifully laid out park with something for everyone. Highly recommend.
