I'm a new patient here and the receptionists, nurse and doctor I saw were all very nice and treated me well the nurse I saw was concerned about a lump on my foot and took me directly to the doctor so he could have a look. It wasn't something I had noticed before.nThe receptionist also sorted out my insurance on the spot and I paid a lower fee so I didn't have to make a claim later. Highly recommended!
Disgusting receptionist has attitude that needs to be left at the door. Poor service yes I know Drs run late but an 11:15 appointment and still waiting at 11:45 is beyond a joke. When the patient is fresh out of hospital and needing a check up and made to wait how can you tell a 96 year old she can’t just walk out.
If your looking for help and care, turn around and run a mile!nnThis is a horrible place to be seen by doctors. They simply just do NOT care one but, ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY! I have been struggling with ovarian cyst and IBS for years just to be told, no im faking it or here, take some ibuprofen and the pain will be gone. This has created huge amounts of anxiety for me which i reached out for help too for this, just to be given anti depressants that made me feel worse. One of your doctors turned my fiance away when he called for urgent help so he didnt take his own life, for the doctor to brush him off and send him away with a lack of interest in helping. Only once we kicked up a fuss about how this could have turned out, did another doctor actually care for us who was DR Jacqui, she has been the only one over the many years to help anyone. The amount of money you charge your poor sickly clients is horrendous for the lack of care you provide and I WILL be laying a complaint with the DHB to investigate. Also how dare you make people wait for an appointment for 20 min plus past ther booking time but then have the audacity to turn someone away for being 8 minutes late in traffic. We now have someone sitting with a cracked rib and no xray because you turned him away. I have now finally moved on to another GP who I know will look after me the way a human simply deserves.
They might have some nice doctors. But the receptionists are always rude and never seem to be bothered by patients’ concerns. With both of my kids, unfortunately, I cannot recall many times when we were able to book an appointment on the same day. They are always booked out and don’t have any extra slots available for any infants or young kids. We had to go to A&E instead quite a few times with simple things like sinus or ear infection because at HP Medical there were no slots or they just would not want to see patients with COVID like symptoms. Is it really how “deeply” you “care” about kids? Very upsetting.
Have been going here for the last 30+ years. My concerns are always listened to and I feel they take great care of their patients. My two daughters are now registered here as well and I love the care and attention the team have towards their patients.
