Wendy and David really went above and beyond for our stay.nThe breakfast was delicious, the room was cosy and modern.nCoco was a very good host.nThey were ready with expert recommendations for our stay in Queenstown. You are far enough away to have peace and quiet whilst close enough to be a short trip into town. Really lovely people and worth a visit if in town! We will be back...
We stayed at the hidden lodge for 4 nights towards the end of our two week trip to NZ and we couldn’t recommend the lodge enough!!nnDavid and Wendy are great hosts and are very knowledgeable and friendly. From the lodge there’s amazing views of the Remarkables and lake. It’s a five minute drive to town centre so easy to get around.nnWill definitely visit again.
Could not recommend enough, we stayed in the Tahi suite and not only was the view incredible the whole stay was amazing. Wendy and Dave were so accomodating and the most lovely people. Dave cooks an incredible breakfast and Wendy goes above and beyond for all guests. I was very sad to leave. We will 100% be returning
Wendy and David were amazing hosts, they made it so lovely to stay here for our wedding week. The lodge has the most beautiful views and is very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, high quality better than what you'd get at some cafes!. Portions were generous and they make very nice coffee too.nnFridge was stocked when we arrived with complimentary drinks which we appreciated. Room is cleaned daily and they have lots of recommendations of what to do in QT. Thank you for your hospitality, this is the best place we've ever stayed in Queenstown.
Visiting Queenstown and New Zealand for the first time The Hidden Lodge really set some high expectations for the remainder of our itinerary. It is exactly everything we wanted in accommodations. Spacious, clean, tucked away from the hustle, a comfortable spacious claw foot bathtub, and with views that are amazing, serene and magical.nThe hosts of the Hidden Lodge, David and Wendy are wonderful and really take the time to know you and will make wonderful suggestions and recommendations based on your needs. David hosts wonderful breakfast that he prepares himself. At the end of our stay we felt they were like family, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and simply wanting us to come back and visit again, which we most definitely want to. Thanks David and Wendy, can't wait to see you again in the future!
