Hidden Lake Hotel Cambridge NZ

Had one night here 4 Dec in one bed studio apartment. Very happy customer. Clean, good size modern room, large comfortable bed, all amenities,. Excellent location for stay in Cambridge or Hamilton. Enjoyed great breakfast, quickly served by cheerful, chatty, Glenda. I think the hotel has recruited and trained well to have such a good employee. Ask her how her young daughter is enjoying girls soccer.

Cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough! We stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip, and after staying in about 10 different 4/5 star hotels across the north and south islands, this hotel is a stand out for us. You can tell the staff really care about this hotel and making sure guests enjoy their stay here. The rooms are great and the on-site facilities such as the spa room and laundry rooms are fantastic. Oh, and the breakfast here is the best breakfast meals we've had in a very long time. Having stayed in Rotorua, Cambridge and Hamilton to see the various tourist attractions the north island has to offer, I would strongly recommend staying in Cambridge at this hotel and commuting out to everything from here. This hotel is great and Cambridge is such a beautiful town, and the restaurants are classy and well-priced.

What a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived at reception to the fabulous cocktails and menu options at the onsite restaurant, can't speak enough of the genuine warm welcome and attentive service we received. Our spacious room overlooked the lake, just gorgeous! To top it off, a luxurious soak in the spa pool. Thanks to Rachel and staff, what a fantastic start to our road trip.

Such a delightful little boutique hotel! From first impressions all the way to breakfast, it was a lovely stay. Bed and amenities were indulgent, location and staff were just sublime, food was great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.Rooms: 5/5

My first impression was with the reception & I was quite disappointed with how I was treated. But in the end she apologized. The hotel rooms were comfortable/clean, cleaning crew were friendly, it had a bar/restaurant a bonus and a spa room. Walking distance to food places a great selection and shops.

Really happy with our stay here, large, clean rooms with air-conditioning. Service was great as well as breakfast. Plenty of parking. Streaming also worked from my phone to the TV. Walkability: Close walk to the shops and town centre Food & drinks: Plenty of great options near the hotel

It's okay. Large rooms. Very basic interior. Good beds. Expensive movie options and streaming didn't work. Breakfast service was good, good food. Coffee was not great. Noteworthy details: Find the hidden lake!

Wonderful place to stay in Cambridge, the room was spotlessly clean and all extras provided. Very friendly & efficient staff. We loved the location and being able to walk around Lake Te Koutu was brilliant. Highly recommend the breakfast especially the coffee!Rooms: 5/5

We celebrated my in-law’s 50th Wedding Anniversary here, and had a brilliant time. Glenda and the team were very accomodating, the food was delicious, and the facilities fantastic. We had everything we needed for a fab night and more!Service: 5/5

Luxurious is one of many words to describe it. There are three king and queen beds and a kitchen with an oven. There are lots and lots of pillows and get two washing machines. The check-in person was lovely.Rooms: 5/5
