Had the pleasure of staying at the Hidden lakes Hotel recently with my wife, attending a friends wedding. Great location, couldn't fault it. The hotel itself is great, excellent service, really nice rooms, clean and comfortable. We'd especially like to make mention of Rachel, who was charming, professional and the perfect host. Breakfast was amazing, you have to include it, hats off to the chefs! Coffee was top notch and I'm fussy!!. We will definitely be back.
Absolute gem!! We stayed here sometime last year and can not wait to rebook this place again. Great for families, service is superb, great location. Breakfast and dinners were awesome. Glenda and her team/family are just so lovely, this place is close to so much and all within walking distance.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and came with a beautiful view. The location is perfect, just about an hour from Waitomo Caves and 30 minutes from Hobbiton, which made it ideal for our itinerary. There are plenty of food options and conveniences nearby, adding to the overall ease of the stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the region!
This is a very lovely place. We went here for a short stay because we were going to Hobbitton, which is 26 minutes drive from here.nThe view from our room was amazing, and in the back yard you have a lake filled with wild life and a walking path.nLittle details like quality sopes and moisturizer makes you feel almost at home.nWe visited the spa which is complementary. It was clean and with double showers and a view from the jacuzzi.nWe also had complementary breakfast and this was great. Honest ingredients and very good service. You can both order from the meny and take from a buffet. I had an avocado on whole grain toast, with poched eggs and black pudding, my kid had pancakes, and my husband had a beautiful an delicious cafe latte.nAll in all such a good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I spend 200+ nights a year travelling for work and this is by far THE BEST accommodation experience I’ve ever had.nnFirst off, incredibly polite staff that clearly have a passion for what they do.nnWe were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment at no extra charge. It had AC, two bathrooms, two showers, fans in each room, a washer/dryer, full kitchen and everything you needed to cook meals.nnBreakfast was included and you could pick anything off the A La Carte menu with a drink. I’ve never experienced an included breakfast this good.nnThere was also a hot tub we were able to book and use privately and it was wonderful.nnThe hotel has a deal with the Snap Fitness across the street so I was able to get two solid workouts in.nnI would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay here again if I’m able to.
