When I work in the Waikato I usually stay in Hamilton but decided to try staying in Cambridge instead as it’s an easy drive up the motorway to Hamilton and I’m glad I did. The service was exceptional, the rooms large with great amenities and comfortable beds! The restaurant food was top draw and reasonably priced. The best stay I have had in this area and will definitely be back.
Wish I had another day here at least! Was staying in Cambridge for a night while on a work trip and really enjoyed this hotel. Great, friendly staff and the roomnWas in perfect condition and very quiet for a great night sleep. Also loved the location with a quick walking track down the back to the lake below. If you have the choice, I’d recommend booking on the lake side of the hotel to enjoy the peaceful sound of birds in the morning and evening. The restaurant on site was great as well and had a very good breakfast there before starting the work day.
Although we didn't stay at the hotel, our dining experience was excellent.nnThe front-of-house service was warm, welcoming and professional, and the restaurant team was attentive without being intrusive.nnThe whole experience at the hotel felt relaxed and well looked after.nnHighly recommended for the beautiful lakeside setting, wonderful service, and immaculate surroundings!
We stayed there recently as a stop over en route to Taupo. From the time we walked through the door everything was perfect, Staff extremely helpful, lovely room, & nice private hot tub.nThe facilities were as expected for a hotel, we had the added bonus of being able to use the snap fitness gym across the road. We were lucky enough to have breakfast included in our stay and it was simply excellent, both the service and the food was wonderful. Would highly recommend Hidden lake hotel.
We stayed here in April, while on a conference.nWe found the rooms very comfortable, a lot of thought has gone into the decor quality and of the fittings, it added to our stay in Cambridge.nThe staff were so personable, kind and attentive.nThe food in the restaurant was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast and dinner, as good as most places in other restaurants around the world we have sampled our travels.nThe location is also perfect for walking to restaurants, shops and very central to most attractions in town.nIt is hard to fault this hotel.nWe would highly recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Cambridge. .
