This page is my place to share my passion - Hibiscus.
I am by no means an expert on hibiscus, I am merely a keen enthusiast.

Hi and welcome to Hibiscus Braed NZ
The 30th September 2006 was my darkest hour. My 28 year old son passed away very suddenly in Australia. His name is Braedon and he had been a landscape designer in tropical North Queensland and the Northern Territory.
I was never any sort of a gardener and actually hated keeping gardens.
Following Braedon's death I bought three hibiscus plants from a nursery in rememberance of him. I dug a hole for each, shoved them in the ground and asked Braedon to take care of them (I knew I wouldn't). They flourished and the blooms simply took my breath away.
Now 2016 and I have a confession to make ................
"My name is Jill and I am a Hibiscus addict".
I also love gardening!! With Hibiscus of course.
Braedon is 38 now and I have over 80 different hibiscus in my garden all growing beautifully and giving me and passers by much pleasure.
